After owning this album since it came out, and listening to it many times, I've decided that "Pretty Amazing Grace" is truly one of Neil Diamond's best songs. Believe me, I own almost all of them, and have seen this amazing performer in concert three times, so I am a pretty decent judge of his work. The album works on many levels, and truly does get deeper, richer and better over many listenings. But "Pretty Amazing Grace" is a musical and lyrical masterpiece, and is alone worth every penny paid for this album. The rest is gravy! I love it, and if you appreciate Diamond's unique voice and songwriting skills, you'll love it, too!

Neil Diamond is amazing, amazing and amazing. This early concert at the Greek theatre in Los Angeles is a marvel to hear. His voice is still strong after all those years, but this DVD is a real treat. I was not in the audience at that time but I could feel the beauty of the show. This music of course has become the favorites of all his fans and have brought him such love and fame and attention to his song writing skills. Out of all singers and song writers, I do beleive that Neil Diamond is one of the top 10 great musical genius's. He loves to write, and as he says, "he must write", so we are the lucky people to be able to hear his songs from long ago, and even now, how he has become even better, and his music has grwon with all of us. Hot August Night has become a collector's item. I am so glad I got mine.

I am a Neil Diamond fan & have been for 35yrs & i have most of Neil's CD's i must have scratched his greatest hits vol 2 & being a perfectionist like Neil i had to replace it. I would recommend this CD to anyone who likes good music & you don't have to be a Neil Diamond fan as he covers country, easy listening, pop, rock & vocal, his range of music is very varied & includes some gospel & Christmas CD's. I hope some of you check Neil's music out & you might be surprised. Andy.
