 Darda NASCAR Victory Lane $64.99 we got this for christmas last year (2008). we loved this set at first. once put together you have to make sure the pieces are just right and aligned or the car won't make the loops. it is pretty flexable and can easily get slid over slightly or bumped and then things aren't straight anymore. after being put away for a while, we took it out today only to find that most of the loop halves are cracked where they connect and therefore don't stay on correctly. one of the curved support tracks is cracked too. i looked into getting replacement pieces but only the loop halves are available for about $[...]/pair. i need 3 pair or $[...] plus shipping. the support track is retired. without the support track the whole thing is useless. we will just have to play with it without the loops. =(  Then Junior Said to Jeff--: The Best NASCAR Stories Ever Told (Best Sports Stories Ever Told) $22.95 Good book. Love to read stories about racing, and especially inside stuff about the drivers off the track. Nice collection.  NASCAR - The IMAX Experience $12.98 My 5 year old loves racing and we saw the 3D version of this movie in the theatre in 2009. The 2D DVD seems to be the same movie minus the 3rd dimension. Our family has really enjoyed this movie. It's helped me appreciate and understand NASCAR and learn to enjoy something that my son loves so much. Hope you enjoy it, too! |
