![]() NHL 09 $9.99 I played the NHL series as a kid, and loved it. I was curious if this would hold my interest, even not being a big hockey fan. Well, it didn't. The controls are extremely tough to learn (I don't play a lot of sports games, though). The difficulty settings are sort of awkward...I would win 6-0 on easy and lose 0-6 on normal. Dynasty mode is a little weak. Not much control over anything outside of the typical trades, salaries, etc. Unless you like hockey, I'd avoid this game. ![]() Stiga NHL Stanley Cup Hockey Table Game $129.99 I'm not busting on the game but...the top needed to be secured better with glue. The players sticks are too thin that sometimes the shot goes right over the puck...these misgivings were all "tweaked" by gluing the top down better as previously mentioned and by adding pieces of plastic onto the business end of the sticks with epozy so that better contact was made with the puck. Also, the pucks of old had a small ball bearing held within a hard plastin outter ring. You could maneuver that puck much, much better. All in all though, my grandkids have left the video games and are now becoming hockey legions. A great, fast moving game. Provides much happiness. ![]() NHL 2K10 $49.99 This is a great game. There are many game options to choose from, the controls are easy to learn and the graphics are very good. My only complaint is that the font size when viewing team stats, etc is too small for me to see. If you like hockey games, this is a good choice for the Wii. ![]() NHL's Greatest Goals (Vintage Hockey Collection) $12.98 Bought as a gift for my husband. He truly loved this one! A must have for any hockey fan's collection. He ranked this video higher than the NHL Greatest Moments. |
