![]() Kind of Blue (Legacy Edition) $15.93 there is no greater jazz album;miles at the top of his game. i bought this as an update to my existing album. the sound is great and it is an economical alternative to the more expensive reissues. ![]() Birth of the Cool $7.96 This is a great classic album. My only complaint is that it would be so much better in stereo (it's a mono recording). ![]() 'Round About Midnight $7.99 Miles Davis was so smooth that he along with Coltrane and buddies made veteran musicians look rough around the edges. Round About Midnight is exactly the type of album that lives up to the hype. Miles Davis was so groundbreaking and was so dominant in directing jazz tendencies that every single album begs to be listened to, but among his elite are Kind of Blue, Sketches of Spain, Bitches Brew and Round About Midnight. No jazz enthusiast should do without these albums and no poser wanting to appear to be knowledgeable of jazz should do without these albums. That way, they'll know what to listen for and become educated with excellence. Like most of the best of Miles, this album is best served chilled, with a nice bottle of wine and some great company. ![]() Sketches of Spain $7.99 Ya! I have waited for years for this album. Did I say album? Now you have an idea how long. I remember it when it first came out and owned it soon after then lost it. I planned on another copy but there always something detracted me from my goal. Then I saw it here on Amazon and snapped it up. What a thrill to here this master piece again after so many years. This is music anyone can enjoy, like jazz or not. It was done by to grand masters of jazz and will always be the music of the day. Train |
