 Sharp R-230KW 800-Watt 4/5-Cubic-Foot Compact Microwave, White $99.99 Hi, My old microwave went off and had about 10 years of service with an every day ware, so that was good anyway. I bought this one, just to get by until we move to Miami FL on April next year 2010. A friend of mine, will buy it from me plus most of my furniture. This one is OK for what we need to warm up so far. The one we had before was bigger and had more power too, but I will buy a good one when I get to Miami next time I recommed the Sharp Products because of the famous life and good reputation the products have. It worked fine for 11 months then quit. It gave no notice of any issues, just suddenly developed a sharp buzzing rattle in the engine and stopped heating the food. From the other reviews, this is an issue with this model, so I would not suggest buying it.  Sharp R-305KS 1-Cubic-Foot 1100-Watt Microwave Oven, Stainless $139.99 Good Microwave. LOTS of power. Only complaint is that stainless steel is harder to keep clean looking than other surfaces.  Panasonic NN-H765WF Full-Size 1-3/5-Cubic-Foot 1250-Watt Microwave Oven, White $179.99 The individuals who prepare the snacks to go with the coffee love this unit, one woman purchased the identical unit for her home use.
