I saw this movie whaen it came out in 1982,and it has been a favorite of mine.
Realy great humor in this movie,with Henry Winkler having a big change of character from being the Fonz.The man who realy stole the show was Michael Keaton,he was just a laugh a minute.They turned this morgue into a place where they could be pimps and make a bundle out of prostitution.
Excellent movie this.

This is a very good movie for the whole family. Michael Keaton doese an excellent job in this film. this is a must see.

I used Gung Ho in a Culture class for Korean teachers in training. It is an excellent example of a culture clash between Americans and Japanese. Though it is somewhat dated, the essential cultural traits remain true, especially in the cultural aspects of individualism vs collectivism and low-power distance vs high-power distance (i.e., the distance in status between workers and bosses).
