![]() Black Irish $6.99 A controlled, careful poignancy is both the crown jewel and mortar for this solid film. What holds it back from greatness, however, is its adherence to the trappings of protagonist and plot. While the boy's character was fairly strong, the insistence on focusing on him often left me feeling like he was standing in front of me at a theater, with me straining to see past his moving head. Also, I secretly wished that he wasn't at all exceptional at playing baseball. So very much depends on the difference between prosaic and prosaic. On a personal level, as a side note, I once told someone that I couldn't picture a boy crying over a pet rabbit that had died. Well, now I can. ![]() Little Secrets $12.99 We borrowed this movie from a friend for my daughters to watch in the car during a trip. Both of my daughters loved it, but especially my 8 year old. She wants to watch this every day, quotes lines from it, and talks about it. It's a good story with good lessons for young kids. With all the trash out there for kids today...this one stands out. And my daughter wouldn't let me rest until I bought it for her after I had to return the borrowed one. ![]() One Last Thing... $9.98 Version: U.S.A / Magnolia / Region A, B, C Aspect ratio: 1.78:1 MPEG-2 BD-25 / 1080i Running time: 1:35:54 Movie size: 17,50 GB Disc size: 24,06 GB Total bit rate: 24.34 Mbps Average video bit rate: 20.59 Mbps DTS Audio English 1509 kbps 5.1 / 48 kHz / 1509 kbps / 24-bit Dolby Digital Audio English 640 kbps 5.1 / 48 kHz / 640 kbps Dolby Digital Audio English 192 kbps 2.0 / 48 kHz / 192 kbps / Dolby Surround Subtitles: English SDH / Spanish Number of chapters: 16 #Audio Commentary #Featurette: Higher Definition: One Last Thing...
