![]() Alka Seltzer Plus Night-Time Cold Medicine Effervescent Tablets, Soothing Lemon, 20-Count Boxes (Pack of 3) $19.47 Seems that something old fashioned seems to still be the best. By the way the seller was great to. ![]() Pocket Medicine: The Massachusetts General Hospital Handbook of Internal Medicine (Pocket Notebook Series) $54.95 Excellent book for a quick review and update on salient points regarding most important medical issues. Also contains references from the source journal articles so you can read them for yourself if necessary. Bottom line: I would recommend this to my friends and buy it again. ![]() Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine, 17th Edition $199.00 As far as I can remember Harrison's has been the bible of medicine. The new edition contains more topics and comes with a DVD which is incredible. ![]() The Buried Life $15.98 If you're looking into buying this CD, DON'T judge it on Amazon's previews. Amazon really needs to fix this -- the previews for this album aren't the slightest bit accurate, not even the same genre. It's misleading for the previews to be off, for because of this, it took me forever to hear how this CD -actually- sounds, and having already established Medicine as one of my favorite artists for a while, I was pleased with its true colors and purchased it. This precautious note was my main reason for writing the review, but.. It's a good album, I like it a lot so far. Track four, "She Knows Everything", won't work on my copy of the CD, but I'm sure it's a good song, too. I listened to others in that it expressed Medicine well, and I think it does.. Out of the CD, though, I really like the songs "The Pink", "Babydoll", and "Live it Down". The others are good in their own way, too, though, as they all have Medicine's unique sound, the way they combine noise, stoicity, and a catchy tune is memorable and truely needs to be heard to appreciate. They really are one of a kind. |
