![]() I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That) (Longer Still But Not As Long As The Album Version) $0.99 This Grammy winning song from 1992 is the essence of Meat Load and Jim Stienman. Awesome song, even better music video. ![]() Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell $9.98 I am a big fan of the original Bat. This is a little better. Maybe it's because they were a little older and wiser. Maybe the songwriting is a bit better. maybe it just came out at the right time. I don't know, but this is as good as and so much more fun than the original. These are all songs that lodge in your noggin and will not leave. This is, along with the rest of the BooH series, a must have in your collection. It's just a great romp. ![]() Heaven & Hell $11.98 I thought this was going to be a duet CD and instead it was Meatloaf and then Bonnie and then Meatloaf again. I guess it's like getting two CD's for the price of one. The only problem is that I'm such a huge Meatloaf fan that I already had all of those songs. I like Bonnie Tyler, but I wouldn't have purchased this had I known that. I thought it would be interesting to have their two voices together instead of just alternating songs between the two. ![]() Bat Out Of Hell III $11.94 When it comes to the Bat Out of Hell series, they are a little different. By different, I mean they are not what most people would consider really mainstream. Whether because of, or despite, the lack of Steinman, this is still a great BooH entry. It is so different from the other two yet has that epic and operatic feel one expects from this series of albums. You can tell from note one it is a bat album, but you listen to it and marvel at how much different it sounds and still keeps the feel of the others. It is a bit harder than the others (well, the other two had their spots) overall, but it works for me. I am, however, more into the hard rock style of music so maybe it just sits better with me. It keeps me wishing the album won't ever end. |
