![]() Mcafee Virus Scan Plus with SiteAdvisor $0.68 I use the free version of McAfee, available to me as a Comcast subscriber. It does a decent job (I guess) of keeping me safe from viruses, although it is a resource hog when it runs it's full scan of my system. Worse than any other program on my Laptop, including Nero 8, which can burn a DVD and take less resources. As for Site Advisor? Don't trust it! It rates my personal site as RED, claiming it gets spammy email. I don't even have a form on my site to "sign-up" for anything. I contacted them, and was told the process is totally automated - so no humans are involved. I have visited GREEN sites only to find they are full of spam, trojans and pop-ups. Again, why aren't these sites flagged? So Site Advisor is not going to protect you. The virus software will do it's job, but there are also plenty of free anti-virus programs that will do just as well. ![]() McAfee Site Advisor Plus 2009 1-User $19.99 This product installed quickly and easily. It runs without a hitch and does what it's supposed to do.ns It appears to have made my web surfing safe and manageable. The color code at the bottom of screen is a pleasant reminder it is working. I really think this program works to keep my brousing a more protected experience. Not earth shattering but does what it says it will. ![]() McAfee VirusScan Plus with SiteAdvisor - Retail Box - SAVE - FREE SHIPPING $39.99 MCAFEE WORKS JUST AS GOOD AS THEY OTHER PRODUCTS OUT THERE.
