I believe she is much better than Ana Netrebko, although Netrebko has some visual advantages.  Too Many Curses $14.95 You may have noticed that most of the reviews previously posted either are short, or just reiterate the plot. That's because the easiest way to review a book is to catalogue what's wrong with it--and I, for one, couldn't find a single flaw in this one. It's funny when it can afford to be, but serious when it needs to be. It makes a charming heroine out of a type (the obsessively devoted servant with little regard for philosophy) that's usually used as irritating comic relief. It . . . well, I'm already out of words. Just read it. |
