They all seem to agree that China's first priorities relate to internal matters, the stability of the regime. They point out that income- equality is great and increasing all the time. The rush to the Middle Class of three hundred million in the past ten years have left behind close to a billion who also aim to improve their standard of living. As for the U.S.- China relationship they point out that the Chinese leader did not as his wont release dissidents before an American visit. They say that America has lost leverage and capacity to influence China. They too point out the great advantages there are to better relationships between China and the U.S. This was not a segment which had much fire, or many brilliant insights. It was an informative segment for the layman. ![]() The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 (2009) $14.99 The movie was just okay, nothing to write home about or expect an award nomination for. Travolta did a very good job in his role, but Denzel was weak with his acting in this movie. Also the ending just fell short, after all the drama...then pop! it's over. |
