![]() How To Make Money In Stocks: A Winning System in Good Times or Bad, 3rd Edition $14.95 This book is really basic and it will help you get an understanding on how to buy and sell stocks. However, advanced or even mid-level subjects are not covered at all. Trading is not that simple. Don't let anybody fool you. So you need to study and learn from traders like Ed Seykota, Linda Raschke, Toby Crabel. These are professional traders. Check on EBAY if there is anything for sale from them. Buy it. Study them. They dont have time to write books because trading is their job. So yes, this book is ok primer, then move on to study the real traders ![]() How to Make Money While you Sleep!: A 7-Step Plan for Starting Your Own Profitable?Online Business $24.95 I was surprised when I attended the World Internet Summit that Brett said that his book could not be purchased in the US and that the price was normally $30, but the conference price was only $25. I found the book on Amazon listed at $16.47. Kind of deceptive, but I did learn the lesson of making things appear that they are in short supply. ![]() Buy It, Sell It, Make Money: Your Guide to Finding and Reselling Luxury Goods for Personal Wealth $29.95 A more honest title should have been "A beginners Guide to buying at garage sales and selling on EBay." Their secondary title was why I bought the book. "your Guide to finding and reselling Luxury Goods for Personal Wealth." They show a "Complete Description" in Chart Form of their August and September 2006 purchases from Garage Sales, Auctions, Estate Sales, etc and then selling them on eBay and Netted $1,070.75. This is their INFORMATION, Netted that is Profited $1,070.75 for TWO MONTHS of work. That's like $535 per month NET. Oh by the way, Their Net still has to pay for gasoline, boxes, packing material, eBay fees and PayPal fees. I'm guessing they really netted less than $75 per week. This is not exactly my idea of creating Personal Wealth per their secondary title of their book. Again, if you are new to buying and selling then this would be a good beginner book. ![]() ProBlogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income $24.99 The way I see it, the title of a book is a promise to a prospective reader. This book does not deliver on its promise: "secrets to blogging your way to a 6-figure income." If it had been titled, "Getting started with blogging from two guys who know their stuff", that would have been more fitting. The book really is a good book. But it's *very* entry-level. For example, the first 76 pages of the 211-page book will be irrelevant if you've already started blogging. (They cover things such as how to set up a blog, how to choose a topic for a blog, and so on.) Again, a good introductory book. But absolutely no "secrets" here. |
