In this "Godfather" takeoff, Lloyd Bridges plays Don Cortino, this film's Godfather. The film parodies every major Mafia film and includes some send-offs on others as well. It's slap-stick, haphazard and mostly funny.

It's also low-budget. It's clear the film's pretty low-budget. Even I can see the film equipment and props used to create the very special effect in the funeral scene. I don't usually catch these goofs so they are pretty apparent.

Balance the laughter with the bloopers if you can. The film did not do well in the theatres, but it's fun with a group of friends. I'd watch this one with a bunch of friends, some pizza, and libations and see what happens.

Loving this book! I'm forcing myself to read a little at a time because I want to savor every page. The story is compelling and the writing is great. I only wish Anastasia would approach Mr. Scarfo to get his version. Seeing that he's older and, probably not ever going to be free, maybe Nicky would tell his story. I'd love for Anastasia to get that assignment. He probably would too!

This is more of a biography of a mafia killer's son , rather than a story on the mafia. It is very well written and very interesting, but those who want more info on Roy DeMeo and his gang can read "Murder Machine". This story is more about the home life of Roy, his son Albert his wife and daughters. Roy seemed very good at separating his gangster life from his home life. Albert gives an excellent account of what it is like to grow up as a mafia son and some really interesting tidbits on the workings of his father that he experienced first hand. Though his father tried desperately to keep his son out of the business, he let him be privy and take part in several of his business dealings. This is a quick read that sustains interest throughout the book.
