![]() Mystery Case Files: Huntsville $19.99 I really enjoyed playing this game. I finished it quickly and have been replaying it over and over. I just wish it was a bit longer. ![]() Mystery Case Files: Return to Ravenhearst $19.99 The disc was delivered as promised and in good condition. The game is wonderful at first but then has puzzles to solve which are practically unsolvable. There are no clues to solve the puzzles and once stuck you cannot get unstuck. The game does not allow you to visit other areas of the environment when stuck in one area so that you can enjoy them too. There should be an opportunity to skip a puzzle one cannot solve so that the forward movement of the game is not blocked. ![]() Mystery Case Files: Prime Suspects $19.99 The MCF games are always high-quality, and this one is no exception. It has excellent artwork, and objects are well-integrated into the scenes without being completely obscure. In this game you act as an investigator trying to figure out who stole the diamond. You investigate 20-odd suspects- and here's where we get to see some humor. These suspects are all rather shady characters, humorously drawn, who fit into some amusing stereotypes without being offensive (think the stage diva who can't sing, the kind of shady carnival worker, the stay-at-home mom who has a side job as a bank robber). As you investigate each character you'll find out if they have an alibi or not. At the end of the game, you solve a final puzzle to determine which of the five is guilty. This changes each time you play, preserving replay value. This game is now several years old, but I remember when it came out it was leaps and bounds ahead of its time. |
