acting was good, the plot good, as was the video effects. The length allowed several sub-plots time to develop.

Having watched 12:01 several times I have always found it a very enjoyable movie. Martin Landau and Helen Slater being cast helped it along as well. There's comedy, suspense, and a little non thinking mans scifi which makes for an excellent movie.
