I adore Ms. Eder and bought this album, sight unseen. I wish I had given the tracks a quick listen before I plunked down the money. The sound is spare and intended to showcase her vocals, but I find the source material weak and threadbare. "Charade" and "Everybody's Talking" at least have a little flavor. Back to the Christmas album for something more lush and sumptuous.

Big fans of Linda Eder - bought this as gift for my husband but I still get to listen too. Doesn't disappoint - Judy Garland's songs sung in a way all would appreciate.

This is a fantastic album! I've been a fan of Linda for fifteen years; have all of her albums; seen her live four times, including "Jekyll & Hyde". . . and this CD is just brilliant. I sincerely hope she'll alternate her broadway style with this "other side" for years to come.
