![]() Lady Love (Explicit) $7.99 This new CD by Letoya, exceeds my every expectation of her and proves that she can stand among the best R&B females in the game today. Certainly, this CD is a leap forward (from the first), by an artist who has clearly become more comfortable with her voice and confident in her interpretation. It's not hard to imagine this CD being enjoyed for years to come. Only now do I see why Matthew Knowles tried to sabotage this girl's career. I think of triumph, when she sings the words, "Ima keep smiling. Ima keep it moving, cause I don't need you..." - She may have been referring to a man, but the same can be said about her tumultuous time as one of the original members of Destiny's Child. Despite being discarded and written off, Letoya has roared back with a promising career in music and film. I've had the CD in heavy rotation for a week now and I can tell you this is one CD you can actually listen to in its entirety (unlike most of the CDs that were released this year). My favorites on the CD would have to be Tears, Matter, Love Rollercoaster (originally on MIMS latest project), Not Anymore, Good To Me and Regret (wow, how many CDs can you name this year that had more than three good songs on them). One other note: Checkout Letoya's range on "Good To Me." Who knew she could reach notes that high? All in all, well done Letoya!!! I plan to buy additional copies for my broke friends. ![]() LeToya $7.99 I love her voice but there were times on some songs that the music just seemed to overpower her voice. It could have been as if she was competing with the music. However, overall the CD was pretty good. ![]() Lady Love [CLEAN] $18.98 There are some great lyrics on this Album; great songwriting in terms of R&B music. My favorite songs are: Regret She Ain't Got Lazy (great lyrics) I Need A U After Party (good lyrics) |
