Last week I watched Pagny's concert at the Olympia which contains some of the songs from this disc so I went back and played it again and it hasn't been out of my cd player since. This album is a real masterpiece, each song shows off Pagny's voice at it's best and the lyrics are heartfelt and meaningful. "Et un jour une femme" is one of the most beautful songs I've ever heard and always brings chills to my spine and tears to my eyes but every song on the disc is great. For a real treat, listen to Pagny's "2" whcih includes duets of alot of these songs, some of them almost surpassing the originals. What a treat to re-discover this album after not hearing it for a while. |
