I bought this product primarily to work on contracts for my employees. With the advertising around you would expect that, however contracts are limited to independent contractors only. So for my employees it is useless, it only includes amendments to their contracts. Everything I NEED is provided by a link to NOLO to buy another product. The few useful forms for a small business owner are well done, but overall needs more useful contracts and forms rather than links to spend more money. I will definitely return this.

I wasn't certain at first if I would find value in this product however, it has far exceeded my expectations.

The cd contains some basic forms for standard business needs such as job applications and invoices. You can probably find most of these forms online for free (with a little effort) or come up with templates of your own (time consuming) but sometimes... it's just nice to have these things all compiled and easily accessable to you (convenience)!

There are 4 electronic books available for you to acess with information on setting up and running a small business and a link to access a legal enyclopedia. As others have mentioned, the legal encyclopedia is freely accessable to anyone not just those who purchased this product but again, I look at this as a 'convenience' service. Furthermore, free information doesn't mean much if you don't know to look for it. At the very least, this brings together valuable resources that may otherwise be overlooked or may have never come to mind.

I personally enjoyed the little 'print book' included. It covers a range of different life events such as dealing with identity theft, marriage and divorce as well as other random oddities such as running your first marathon ;). Not enough information to be a catch-all resource for the topics brought up but enough to get you thinking.

This book is perhaps the best of the intro to law books out there. I haven't read very many of those but I've skimmed through a number of them. So take my claim for what it's worth. I would also recommend this to soon to be 1L's.
