 Save Me from Myself: How I Found God, Quit Korn, Kicked Drugs, and Lived to Tell My Story $13.99 The book I ordered arrived within 5 days in perfect shape. It was just like I went to the bookstore and bought it...only I didn't have to pay for the gas : )  Layne Staley: Get Born Again $19.95 The only thing this book is good for is the pictures & small amount of info ur given on Layne...it goes off the subject too much & leaves too many questions unanswered... I also find it strange that the author never met with Layne in person but he called her in the middle of the night to give the supposed last interview, which is rather questionable, also left out too much of his life with alice/friends/associates & skipped over important details rather quickly to focus on the drug element...Layne hated journalists after 1 wrote that he had puncture marks on his hands during an alice interview & was pretty much the last contact he had with them, is hard to believe he fessed up to a journalist not long before he died, esp when he was an intensely private person.. |
