Save the last dance is an emontional ride through sarah Johnson's life, from her living with her mother; to moving to Philadelphia with her fatherwhen her mother passes away. Sarah does not want to dance anymore because of her mothers death, when she meets a boy at school named Derek who pushes her to finish her dream to become a ballet dancer at Julliard. When you watch this movie you will want to finish what you always wanted to do, this movie pulls you in from the very start. You'll understand everything Sarah's going through when her life changes for good. -Shauna Cunningham  Save the Last Dance (2001 Film) $13.98 I loved the movie. And just like anyone who enjoyed the movie, I enjoyed the soundtrack as well. Julia and Sean were just, wonderful together. But I am in search for a song that is possibly not on the soundtrack. It plays when she is practicing, right before he comes in and they start the fight. It was a woman singing. Anyone have ANY idea what that might be? If you do, please comment.  One Last Dance $9.98 Absolutely incredible dancing -- soulful. A bit fragmented at the beginning. Most viewers would benefit from more dialog rather than relying on movement to tell the story. If one is not a ballet dancer, he cannot grasp the artistic excellence of this film without viewing "Behind the Scenes" under "Special Features". Make sure you watch this FIRST so that you can appreciate the film. Then you will understand the story, characters, expertise, quality, depth and effort that went into this amazing project. |
