I just don't understand this group's management at all. A friend of ours from Sweden said you have to listen to this group and that was several years ago. Well, the first album that we bought was "Breakfast" that was catchy but needed a little maturing.

Along came the self titled album "Lambretta" that was much tighter and we were hooked. So we don't hear anything from Lambretta for several years except Linda doing a guest shot with the Finn band Apocoliptica that was very successful.

The group got a new record deal with Universal which has all of the top Scandinavian groups tied up. Along comes "The Fight" which is just about the best album I've heard in years. The album starts off with "The Fight" which is really, really good. Following up is "Chemical" that just totally kicks butt. By the way, Lambreatta produced portions of "Die Happy's" latest album which is also quite good. Too bad somebody in the USA doesn't recognize the talent and give us something other than Rap every day.

Compared to their first effort 'Breakfast', this has a tighter sound to it, which only shows how a band could mature from one album to the next. I like this enhanced version coz not only can you listen to some cool chops here but also watch 2 good videos - 'Bimbo' and 'Creep'. I was hoping that the video for 'Perfect Tonight' was included in this album since it is one of the catchier songs in this effort, but if you really would like to see that one too, you can always log on to their official website, Lambrettamusic.com. Some other catchy tunes from this album include 'Wake Up Girl' and 'Piece of My Heart'. This is a great album to have especially if you've just heard about this band and you decide to buy their most recent album, 'The Fight'. Linda is one great vocalist with a unique voice. You could also check her out in one of Apocalyptica's materials, performing a song called Faraway II, in the album, 'Reflections Revised'. Happy Listening.

Piaggio's Vespa is the quintessential motor scooter and still is the leading scooter. During the 1950s and 60s it had one tough competitor-- Innocenti's Lambretta. Lambos had a little more power and way better balance (due to the different engine placement) and are now candidates for resurrection by restorers-- like the classic car hobby cut down to morer affordable, 2-wheeled size. Anyone interested in why they nwere so great, who is trying to bring one of these back to authentic life, needs this book for reference. Its a fun read, too.
