![]() Kellie Pickler $11.94 I loved the first album, it was refreshing to me because it helped me gain at least a little bit of confidence in modern country. I enjoyed every song on the first album and could not wait to get a hold of the second. So I finally got my hands on the CD and popped it in. The first song is lyrically ok, but I was put off by the music. The CD went quickly downhill and stayed down. There was nothing country about anything in this album--even the slight 2 seconds of steel guitar I heard in one song didn't add enough to the music to be called country. Her accent seemed like it was drowned out, the music was poppy and flat at best. The lyrics were lame and made me feel embarrassed for her. The remake of "Didn't You Know How Much I Loved You" turned an otherwise decent country song into a too fast and lame pop song. I was disappointed with every song and disappointed with the whole album, especially because the first was great and my expectations for her were high. This album was a failure, don't waste your time with it and/or lose respect for someone I thought had a great potential career in country music. ![]() Small Town Girl $9.99 A great CD...got one for myself and one as a "grab-gift" for a party we were invited to attend! ![]() Play On $13.98 Amazing Album! Favorite Songs: Temporary Home, Undo It Although they are all really great songs! Carrie has outdone herself again! Can't wait till the new tour!!!! ![]() Fearless $18.98 I was sad to learn that Taylor Swift lost her legs. I know she is getting past her prime anyway, but I didn't want to see her go out this way. If only people could learn to drive! And no, I'm not talking about her, even though most people think it was her fault. I'm talking about the guy in the cement truck who ran into her. Despite not having legs, I still think Taylor could learn to dance again. She is so amazing she will probably make up her own new style of dancing. I can see her sliding around on the stage, maybe if it were covered with wax and she could shoot around like a hockey puck. I love Taylor!!!!!! |
