![]() The Karate Kid (1985 film) $12.98 One would think such a well-known movie would have a lot of hit songs/artists in it. Not so this time, I'm afraid. Survivor (the first track) is the best name I found. The last track (You're The Best) from Joe Eposito (NOT Esposito) is the cheesiest song on the album, but also the best reason to buy it, with it's inspirational beat. The whole soundtrack holds true to the movie - inspiring and great if you're girlfriend is with you, a disappointment if you're looking for upbeat a**-kicking music. ![]() THE KARATE KID TRILOGY----PTS 1,2, AND 3 !---DVD SET $37.95 PARTS 1,2, AND 3------ALLIN IN ONE NICE BOX SET-------------- ![]() The Karate Kid Collection (Four Film Set) $36.95 I ordered this 4 DVD set for my grandchildren because they had never seen or heard of The Karate Kid. The service from Amazon.com was great; they were delivered within 2 days and the DVD's are first rate and great quality. I would definitely recommend this product. ![]() The Next Karate Kid $14.94 As a child, I always watched this movie with my father every time it was on TV. It is an interesting story in which an unhappy, somewhat rebellious teenager learns to deal with the pain of losing her parents. Through her friendship with Mr. Miyagi, she comes to respect herself by learning more about Karate and life in general. The only disappointment was that the "military coach?" at the high school was completely unbelievable. No American school would allow an employee to behave that way! Also, the "Zen bowling" scene was too silly for this type of movie! For these reasons, I gave the movie four stars instead of five. Overall, I thought it was an entertaining, family-friendly movie. |
