I wept when I saw these women trying to survive on the meager wages their husbands brought home, trying to keep their kids clean in washtubs, trying to feed them. It wasn't an issue of feminism it was pure survival. But on the other hand, look at the women and they were in the background, they left the fighting to the men even though they had as much to lose as their husbands. It is well constructed and has several safety features not found on more recognized brands. The manufacture (Kent) provides great customer sevice. However, before you buy check around for a better price. I was in a hurry and did not research other sources. Yes, I did receive free shipping, but even taking that into consideration, I paid too much. After the fact I sadly found that even the local John Deere distributor, who is normally more expensive, to be $28 less money than Amazon.
