![]() Living 2001-2002 $35.98 I saw this kid in concert @ Nashville and man-o-man I was absolutely blown away! I don't think I have EVER heard so much sound come from a three piece band. All three members are premier musicians and boy do they play well together. I came home that night and ordered this CD and I "promise" it is an accurate representation of what I heard that night. Now the recording is from 2001-2 and I heard them in 2007 so I'm going to go and look for more from these kids, you should do the same, but "Living 2001-2002" is a great place to start! ![]() The John Butler Trio: Live at St. Gallen $61.99 I fell in love with the John Butler Trio during a Qantas flight from LA to Melbourne. They were playing the video of the Sydney Opera House Max Sessions, the DVD included in this set, and I couldn't get enough. I picked up a copy of this cd later during my trip in the Sydney airport and it has been in constant rotation in my car for over a year now. The opening sequence of Treat Yo Momma is amazing and the cd just gets better from there. It is easy to listen to discs 1 & 2 straight thru repeatedly. You can really tell that the band connects with the audience to create a great concert atmosphere. ![]() Sunrise Over Sea $9.99 Earnest but somewhat predictable roots rock benefits from punctual acoustics and soulful delivery but often falls into somewhat generic compositional form. |
