![]() Love to Love You Bradys: The Bizarre Story of The Brady Bunch Variety Hour $22.95 So much fun to read. I bought the dvd a couple years ago being an avid Brady fan, and watched our pillar Mike Brady sing disco songs and try to dance. It was horrible. Then I bought this book (being an avid Brady fan) and now watching the show is way more interesting, seeing all the goofs that didn't get edited (Greg totally taking a spill in a roller skating scene, fake Jan gradually losing her hair bow throughout the number then it's back in, etc.). I thought the portion in the book dedicated to the Kroftettes would be drawn out and boring, but they come across as being some of the hardest working people in show biz at the time doubling as dancers and enduring that swimming pool and all that entailed. Even if you've seen the show and agreed with TV Guide that it should be in the top 10 of worst TV shows of all time, if you're a Brady fan, you'll love getting the inside scoop on the actors who played the characters you love. ![]() unSweetined $25.99 This book was great reading. You never know what these child stars go through. I hope by having the baby made her STOP doing drugs. There's nothing more precious than having an INNOCENT baby. Good luck to you Jodie. ![]() High On Arrival $25.99 This book disturbed me so much I can't properly express my feelings. I gave it four stars only because I couldn't put it down. It is a wonder MacKenzie or any of John Phillip's children reached adulthood. Ms Phillips told a horrifing survival story as bad as Stephen King or Dean Koontz could ever write. My heart goes out to her and I wish her only happiness and good things for the rest of her life. She has truly been to hell and back. How she forgave her father I will never know. He should have been in jail for child abuse for years. I can only hope where ever he is, he is paying the price. ![]() A Full House of Growing Pains $19.99 This book is well-written and interesting. Lots of pictures make a fun and pleasant addition to the many facets of life Mrs. Cameron writes about herself and her family. I had a hard time putting the book down & read it in 4 days. |
