Two Words, One Answer.

 Jacob's Ladder $9.98 I was really into the movie all the way through but I just felt really let down by the ending. I was expecting something that would turn the movie on it's head and blow me away. But I waited and waited and then movie was over. I guess I was expecting too much. I really loved one freaky scene in the movie. But after that it was a dud.  Jacob's Dream $5.34 I accidentally bought this album thanks to one-click mp3 shopping. Not a big deal since I love Jason Upton's music and own several of his albums already. I was a little bit disappointed however that this was not a live album. Don't get me wrong, Psalm 23 is a beautiful song (as is the rest of the album), but it is songs that have been written and produced in a studio as stand-alone songs - which maybe you like, however I'm partial to more spontaneous, live sessions. Maybe you can get an idea of what I like so you can understand my review better and make a decision on what you might or might not like: My favorite Upton albums are, Remember Open Up The Earth I love the songs "In the Beginning PI & II" Bottom Line: This is a good album, but gets very little play time during our worship and ministry times.  New Country - July 1995 $2.38 One of the better Country compilations ever due! Too bad they don't put these out anymore. Rock On Jason and the Scorchers and how about Lorrie Morgan! |
