 Sibling Rivalry $9.98 I thought this was really funny. I love Kirstie ALley's acting and she was really good in this movie. I ordered it because someone told me about it. Bill Pullman was good in it too.  Lip Service $9.98 My purchase of this movie is because of Jami Gertz whose work I really enjoy. What an intense character she plays here. This is not the sweet and likable Jami of Jersey Girl, the television series Still Standing, or the TV movie Undercover Christmas, etc. However, this is a performance in which Jami excells. She seems to relish the opportunity to play such a wild character who is completely uninhibited, and very sexually predatory. I've mentioned in other reviews my attraction to so many of Jami's characters being the likability--characters whom I would love to marry (especially Judy Miller on Still Standing). This is not one of those characters--and that's great. A role like this allows her to stretch and try other things. Sybil Temtchine is also excellent here in an equally complex role. Simply put, this is a revenge story. Be prepared to go on quite a ride to the very explosive and surprising ending. |
