![]() Something's Gotta Give $14.94 This is a great dating movie for those of us over 50 years of age............how true it depicts the difference between men and women after a breakup - men date younger women and women cry for days........been there and done that and probably most women can totally relate. Kianu Reeves is the sexy, nice younger man who loves older women and how true that is and I know first hand as I am in the dating world. I love Jack Nicholson and again the cast was great. Makes you laugh and cry and I love happy endings. ![]() Jack: The Biography of Jack Nicholson $14.95 At a time of life when most people think of retiring, Jack Nicholson remains as energetic and charismatic as ever. Known for his trademark shark's grin and sunglasses, Nicholson has been acting for the past 37 years, and has just celebrated 25 years since the classic The Shining was released. This book shares the truth about this avid LA Lakers fan, partying legend, and charismatic performer, revealed with the help and cooperation of many of Nicholson's Hollywood associates. John Parker traces the astonishing rise to stardom of a boy who was brought up to believe his grandmother was his mother and his mother his sister. This unorthodox childhood was the start of an incredible journey that included Oscar success, a string of high-profile lovers, and a long-term relationship with Anjelica Huston. This comprehensive biography goes behind the wolfish grin to discover that there is much more to Nicholson than the good-time partying figure found regularly in gossip columns; he does remain, after all these years, untamed and wild. ![]() The Bucket List $19.98 This is a drama about two men who are dying to live. It is a heartfelt story that is good for the whole family. ![]() As Good As It Gets $14.94 Calling this fantastic film a romantic comedy is misleading because it is so much better than what we typically label as romantic comedy. Helen Hunt is fantastic as the nice waitress to Mr. Mean Jack Nicholson who gives a stellar performance as a sharp tongued obsessive compulsive unable to find any joy in life. Greg Kinnear and Cuba Gooding Jr. also do a great job in this film. This makes you examine what makes a good couple and how two total mismatches can come together. Power Path to Love |
