![]() Panasonic NI-L70SR Cordless Steam/Dry Iron w/Stainless Steel Soleplate $69.99 The iron is working great so far and it does stay hot once you use it as per manufacturer's guidance..i.e....keep it on the charge base at all times when you are not actually ironing. I didn't realise the power cord was retractable and is stored within the base itself which is an added plus. I love the fact that I can store the iron right away while it is piping hot. The only thing is this was supposed to be a brand new iron from Amazon and when it arrived and I opened the package there were scratches below the iron.....I'm suspiciously thinking Amazon sent me a refurbished product. ![]() Black & Decker F1000 Steam Advantage Iron, White $26.16 Got this iron thinking that it would be a quality product. Won't make that mistake again! This iron did fine for about a month, just long enough that I could not return it to the local store. Then, it started dripping constantly. We followed all the directions regarding cleaning, adding water etc. NOTHING worked to keep this iron from dripping. Clothes always have water spots, then today, it just quit working, won't even turn on! ![]() Black & Decker D5500 Digital Evolution 1500-Watt Steam Iron with Ceramic Soleplate $79.99 In searching Amazon for an iron to replace one that I had broken, I noticed the many positive comments regarding this B&D model. My wife is not high-tech and is also left-handed so I took these factors into consideration. She was pleasantly surprised after she had used the iron a few times as the swivel function works great and the iron glides across the clothing. She also manages the digital setting for fabric type with ease. Only drawback that I have noticed is that she continues to rely on her water spray bottle instead of using the spray function on the iron. She does use the steam from the iron, however. Overall, it was a great purchase at a fantastic price. ![]() Panasonic NI-C78SR Steam/Dry Iron w/Stainless Steel Soleplate $49.99 I like this product. It has a nice feature where you can remove the water reservoir and take it to the sink to fill it up then snap it in place. That works well. It has a cord winder which is also handy, although it may take a couple of tries to get the cord to wind up. It has nice large base so it doesn't tip over easily. And the spreay and steam work well. It is not a featherweight though. |
