![]() Study Buddy Koby Bear $59.99 Koby the bear is a good concept if you can get it to work properly. I bought this for my son last Christmas. At the time he was 5. His little heart was broken when he tried to talk to it and it would not respond properly. I exchanged it for another Koby, and it had the same problem! The only way we were able to get him to respond properly was to have no background noise, and to speak into his microphone around his collar. But even then it worked 50% if the time save your money... it's not worth buying. Unless, you just want him for his cuteness. ![]() Merlin's Apprentice (Cd-i Technology) $8.30 CD-I (definition from answers.com) (Compact Disc-Interactive) A compact disc format developed by Philips and Sony that holds data, audio, still video and animated graphics. He turned down college to become a famous musician. Inspired by the songs of elvis pigsley, buddy started his own band, "the pork rinds". Buddy met the love of his life, the beautiful piggy sue and wrote a hit song dedicated to her which remains a music legend. ![]() Voice Buddy Interactive Voice Control $13.96 Yes, when you use Control Panels:Programs and Features:Uninstall (it doesn't have an uninstall program in its folder), every little bit goes away. That's good! Unfortunately that's the ONLY good thing I can say about this program. I tried over the course of an afternoon to get it to work with World of Warcraft and it wouldn't. I'm not even sure it saved all the commands I set it up for-- looking at the text file, it seems to have recorded only one. Pity. I can't vouch for its usefulness in the other programs it says it works with,, as I bought it for that one program; but if you're running WoW, avoid it at all costs; and if you're running something else, good luck. |
