I LOVE LOVE LOVE this album. This is actually the first time that I've heard Idina Menzel, but this has got to be her best album. It's wonderful. She is AMAZING!

I do recommend buying this because I could really relate to the song lyrics and the songs are just beautiful.

As much as I love Idina Menzel, and as much as I LOVE Wicked, I'm a little disappointed in this. I like the Funky Junction/Anthony Reale and the Josh Harris Vocal Club mix (as I am a dance music fan to the max), but the other mixes didn't fit the vocals as well. And honestly, the single version leaves a lot to be desired when compared to the original track from the musical. Idina's voice rocks, but this CD falls a little flat. If you can't get it for free, don't bother buying it.

Wow. I've been looking for this album for a while, and I've heard mixed reviews from lots of people. But I absolutely love this album. Some of her best solo work! No lie.

You'd Be Surprise ~ 4/5 Only weak song on here, in my opinion, and it's still good.
If I Told You ~ 4/5 It took some time to grow on me, but I really enjoy this song.
Once Upon a Time ~ 5/5 My absolute favorite song on the album, if not her entire solo career.
Penny ~ 5/5 Rivals Once Upon a Time for my favorite song.
So Beautiful ~ 5/5 This one was sort of my favorite to begin with, but that changed to Once Upon a Time. Still a fabulous song.

I seriously am biased here, I absolutely enjoyed the acoustic-ness(not really sure how to say that.) of the album, just kind of her with a guitar/piano playing, a few background vocals. And the songs actually have meaning, unlike a lot of famous artists (she isn't famous, sadly...kind of just among her fanzels).
