I'll catch
 Maybe I'll Catch Fire $8.99 FROM HERE TO INFIRMARY and MAYBE I'LL CATCH FIRE are my two all time favorite Alkaline Trio albums. I've always seen MAYBE I'LL CATCH FIRE as Dan's album and FROM HERE TO INFIRMARY as Matt's. Maybe this is because the title song is a quintessential Dan song in the middle of the album serving as a glue that holds the rest together. Or maybe, it's because I simply see Dan's style in more of the songs. Either way, MAYBE I'LL CATCH FIRE is a softer album compared to GODDAMNIT! and FROM HERE TO INFIRMARY. MAYBE I'LL CATCH FIRE is a nice transition between GODDAMNIT! and FROM HERE TO INFIRMARY because it takes Trio back to their bones. MAYBE I'LL CATCH FIRE was written and produced in a short span of time and it stripped everything unnecessary away to produce a clean and more honest feeling. A bold move for a second release from the band since it surprised fans so much by changing the Chicago Punk style that GODDAMNIT! perfected, but a good move none the less. Now, you can't talk about MAYBE I'LL CATCH FIRE without mentioning its most well known and fan favored song, "Radio." "Radio" is one of those songs that will serve as the song that every band covers at least once. It's the perfect ending to MAYBE I'LL CATCH FIRE as it leads in seamlessly to FROM HERE TO INFIRMARY. With a combination of biting punk vocals and soft yet subtle guitar playing, MAYBE I'LL CATCH FIRE a perfect example of flawless structure and writing.
