![]() Howl $12.99 Leashed-Two for One Deal by Jet Mykles Meg is a witch with a problem, she's been given an ultimatum by a powerful, evil male witch, join his coven or else and the deadline is Samhain. In an effort to protect herself and stop his plans, she casts a summoning spell which would leash a shape shifter to her and provide protection. Meg gets more than one shifter though. She gets two sexy powerful shape shifters. Rudy a young playful werewolf, and Michael, a mysterious, strong but silent type of were jaguar. Not only do these two men do everything and then some in their power to protect Meg from the evil witch who wants her, but they also take her to heights of passion like she's never before. The question running through all their minds is, what happens next? The unspoken question hanging in the air between them all is does she love me? Do they love me? Wolfe's Gate by Raine Weaver Who's afraid of the big bad wolf? Scarlett "Red" Grier certainly isn't, but she IS afraid of thunderstorms. In her determination to avoid a pounding thunderstorm, Red seeks shelter in the home of Grayson Wolfe. Little does she know she's stepping into the wolf's den. Soon passions escalate and emotions run high as Grayson tries to prove he's no cuddly puppy and Red tries to prove she's ready for him to huff, puff, and love her down. All Hallows' Moon by Jeigh Lynn On her way to her best friends' home for a Halloween party, Jill hits what she thinks is a big dog, but in the pouring rain looks can be deceiving. Taking refuge in an empty cottage, Jill tries to tend the wounds of the enormous wolf. She soon finds out that he's more than a wolf; he's a man. A hot man! Dash knows the scent of the woman caring for him; she's his mate. Now how to convince her that they belong together? Howl is the first anthology that I've read in a long time. I have shied away from reading anthologies because there's usually a story within the bunch that is disappointing. Well I can honestly say with Howl there is not one story that disappoints! From the steamy, sexy mnages, to the passion filled couples, these three stories have it all. Jet Mykles is a favorite of mine because of her Dark Elves, but with Leashed she delivers yet again! I love the temperamental Michael, he can growl at me anytime! Despite his reluctance at being leashed, Michael did his job and THEN some! The pair of Michael and Rudy seemed unlikely, as they are different as night and day, but add into their mix Meg, and this is one trio you don't want to mess with. I totally enjoy their battles, their loving and their banter. Wolf's Gate is also a good read! Despite being warned off by Grayson, Red is bound and determined to get her man, er wolf! She doesn't care what he turns into at night but she cares about WHO he is inside, which is just the affirmation that Grayson needs, only he's too stubborn to realize it. I did get to the point where I had to remind myself that this is a story and that Grayson can't hear me yelling at him and calling him names. A totally engrossing tale! All Hallows' Moon is a comedic, yet sizzling hot romp. Dash gives the appearance of being a fun loving playboy all the time, but looks can be deceiving. All of the characters are instantly loveable and Dash is my hero! He's a sweetie, but an animal in bed, pun intended. Jill is very centered and on set on a course and I think she needs a little shaking up in her life and Dash is just the one to do it. Though this book was released during Halloween this is an anytime read and I suggest that time is now! Note to reader: All Hallows' Moon is a part of Jeigh Lynn's Moon series. Though it is stand alone, reading the previous two books Latin Moon and A Lovers' Moon will give you a better understanding of the cast of characters that appear in All Hallows' Moon. Dee reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed ![]() Howl's Moving Castle $29.99 I love Hayazaki animations. Recently, I had a chance to watch the english version and I fell in love with this. Actually, I love the english version more than the japanese version. I love the fact that the main charactor isn't the prettiest thing in the world.... ha ha You should watch this... You won't regrate it!!!!! ![]() The Howl $29.95 There`s no coherent plotline to speak of, it`s a barrage of late 60`s Italian Psychobabble that`s like 'Alice Through The Looking Glass' on Acid - that said, the dialogue is poetic, the imagery indellible, erotic and unforgettable, IF you enjoy late 60`s European flicks with a high amount of anti-war sentiment. If not, RUN AWAY NOW! PS- Tina Aumont never looked better!! ![]() Howl and Other Poems (City Lights Pocket Poets Series) $7.95 For some reason I thought this was going to be a large collection of poems by Allen Ginsberg. I can say I've been a fan for quite sometime. This was not the case. In fact, This book only consists of 57 pages. Its a very small book so I don't care how famous Howl is or if it's being made into a movie with James Franco. This is not worth the purchase of 6 or more dollars. |
