In the late 1800s, scientists coined the work hotspots to refer to those areas on the planet which were populated by the largest number of unique plant, animal and insect species at risk of going extinct. Hotspots chronicles the work of Dr. Russell Mittermeier as he shows how many conservation efforts are succeeding throughout the world; and what it takes to negotiate a sustainable future for life on Earth.

When we traveled together we were always passing around the WiFi card. I saw this item and purchased it with cautious optimism. When I received the product I was confused that there was a small box with an on/off switch and very little instruction. I plugged in the power cord, plugged in my USB WiFi card, turned it on and waited. In about 30 seconds the lights were all on and I had a mobile hotspot. It was literally that easy. The router recognized my WiFi card, configured itself, and set up the hotspot all automatically. Considering that 95% of the electronic stuff you buy today takes hours to get it working half the way you would like, I congratulate the folks at Cradlepoint for this product. It does what you need, it does it well, and best of all, it is simple. I love it.
