![]() The Handbook of Chinese Horoscopes $6.30 I think the Chinese have developed wonderfully sophisticated systems of Astrology, Feng Shui, and Healing among other things. I'd never come to this opinion from reading this book, however. I found it to be simplistic and shallow in it's content. The delineations are more surface descriptions minus compassionate, psychological insight. If I had flipped through it at a store or library first I would most definitely placed it back on the shelf. Sorry, it just wasn't for me. ![]() The Power of Birthdays, Stars & Numbers: The Complete Personology Reference Guide $26.95 Good for a party! I dont really believe in horoscopes, but my birthday page was incredibly accurate. Still a good read if you know its just for fun. When you bring it out at a party everyone wants to borrow it or take it home :). Tell them to get their own copy on Amazon. ![]() The Secret Language of Birthdays (reissue) $34.95 I have three of these birthday type books. This one appears to be the most accurate. I have found two people in the many that have looked at this book who say it doesn't describe them. Is the book wrong or perhaps are those individuals less aware of aspects of themselves (or undeveloped aspects)? I don't know. We are all shaped by our environment (nurture), but I do believe this book can describe one's basic "nature". ![]() The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need $19.95 The big plus is the Interactive CD-ROM for casting birth charts. The book is beautifully written with enlightening details to communicate the significance of each birth chart. This enables a better understanding of your sign and plant placements at time of birth, which makes astrology more interesting and fun for you, family members and friends. |
