Hand-knotted Handmade New Zealand Wool  21 Golden Hits $7.98 "21 Golden Hits" contains a few of the best Bob Wills classics (Faded Love, San Antonio Rose, All Night Long) plus many more obscure but still wonderful performances, even though some of the recording quality is not first-rate. For pure entertainment value, it's fine. BUT, at least in the version I have (several years old) there is no information of any sort on the performers, recording dates, etc. Judging by some of the performers' names Bob calls out (e.g., Johnny Gimble) and by some of the tunes (Buffalo Twist), at least some of the recordings date from the 1950s and early 1960s, later than the real heyday of the Texas Playboys. Also, vocalist Tommy Duncan doesn't appear in this collection. Still, as always, lots of fun.
