![]() Hiroshima $6.98 I first heard this LP in college, Hiroshima was new on the music scene and this album was the "Bomb". If you like soft vocals and incredible music arrangemnts then check this one out. The best song for me is "da da". As a lover of contemporary jazz and smooth vocals you won't be disappointed. Truly a mastepiece with a mix of contemporary jazz fusion and R&B flavored vocals......Larry G. ![]() Hiroshima $6.99 Great movie, a must for the World Was II History Buffs!!! Very innovative mixing of Archival footage. They have covered all the characters and events that played a part in the decision to drop the Atom bomb. ![]() Hiroshima (Apple Paperbacks) $4.99 I used this very simple book to inject a little burst of "something" different into my Chemistry class. I use it when I cover Nuclear Chemistry. It describes very simply the vocabulary words for an atomic bomb and the plus is that the students get to learn about the point of view of a young girl. It's a great help in the course: they have to read! The students get to see a different point of view of what would have been just another topic in a not so fun class (That is, -for some.) I like to have a little bit for everybody in my classes, this book allows for a breath of fresh air for those who are suffocating with the chemistry compounds... They see "People things: feelings" in the class of Chemistry! Wow, that doesn't happen too often! ![]() BBC History of World War II: Hiroshima $14.98 Excellent video and one that I would reccomend for both people interestd in history or teachers for their class. My only two criticisms are that it spends too much time on the actual flight and what was going on, and I would have liked to have seen a little more, like 5 minutes devoted to the Manhatten project, which created it. Otherwise this is outstanding. |
