 Sterling Silver Marcasite Amethyst-Color Glass Heart Pendant, 18" $70.00 I purchased this item for my mother-in-law (dangerous, I know). She sent a prompt note with glowing reviews. We had lunch recently and she wore it proudly. The chain is very distinct and the pendant itself is much larger than I imagined. Te back of the pendant is also very detailed and adds to the distinction. My only draw-back is that the color is much darker than I expected based on the picture. The bottom line is that she loved it!  Essential Heart $15.93 Looking over the songs on the 2 CD's, I see most of my favorites. It's a good survey of their music as well. Obviously a ton of great songs here, and Ann and Nancy are a great combo. It spans their old school rock era as well as their reinvention into different sounds. Highly recommended. It's a lovely piece, and to my eye, looks much more expensive than it is. However, as other reviewers have noted, its much darker than what is shown. Under normal viewing conditions, you will not be able to see the filligree pattern on the back of the pendant. I was attracted to the color shown in the picture, but when it arrived, I was slightly disappointed at how dark of a red the pendant actually was. However, my wife (who hadn't seen the pictures on Amazon) is pleased with it, so if she's happy, I am. Just be aware that it's not going to be such a bright ruby red as shown. |
