This is a great collection of John Williams music. I love that it has the suite arrangements on a lot of the music so that you get the best themes from the movies in a shorter amount of time. It has most everything I've heard of associated with John Williams up to its time. However, the performances of the music are not always that great. The orchestra sounds like it just wasn't up to scratch to play a lot of this music by the time they recorded. So, buying this CD is kind of give-and-take: you get a great selection of music, some of which is played at a sub-par level.
