I cannot access Email (X2 cannot find IE!), cannot access Help files, a major drawback--X2 goes into error mode and sometimes freezes. Yes, it is also bloatware. Takes too long to delete, to rename files. The Organizer: beware. Etc. I have been in touch with Corel Support, and I've done everything suggested, including a clean reinstall (took about 2 hours of my time!). The reality is that Corel is not addressing the issues of this buggy program--they throw out fixes that have worked in the past for some people, but don't examine specific problems. All of my attempts to fix X2 took so long that I couldn't return it to Amazon and get a refund. I also have PSP X, which works fine on my computer. I stupidly thought I should upgrade to get more features. PSP X2 is a flawed program, not worth the money. ![]() Canon VIXIA HF S11 HD Dual Flash Memory Camcorder with 10x Optical Zoom $1,599.99 I've been in the market for a very good Camcorder and I am pretty serious about this one. However, the hinge needs to be a little stronger in my opinion since pushing the Wide/Tight Zoom feature may cause the camera itself to move when on a tripod. With this price a better battery and charger should be included. Also, I saw a remote function you can place on the tripod but very little is written as to how it works. ![]() Canon VIXIA HF S100 HD Flash Memory Camcorder with 10x Optical Zoom $1,099.00 I have a Canon HV20 that takes very good video, but the difference in the HF S100 to me is the processing of the video to DVD and also not having to wind and rewind tapes! I would rate the video about the same as the HV 20 but on my IMAC a lot faster and much easier to process over to DVD's. If you do not edit your video's I recommend the DW 100 Canon burner. A very simple way to make backup of your video's and to keep extra space on your hard drive ,also I believe the transfer to DVD with the DW 100 has better video quality on your DVD's ,unless you invest in some very expensive software. Most of the technical stuff has been discussed in other reviews, so about all I have to say is you get very good video quality and an easy way to transfer it to your computer or external burner with a minimal amount of work. |
