This is a beautiful watch in its open readable, simplicity. The face is large but not ostentatious and the hands are easy to see. The colors are subtle which adds to its dignity. The indigo lights up the entire face of the watch and the leather strap is much softer than I though it would be. The only concerns are that the date is nearly impossible to read and the indigo light only shows while you are holding down the side button. You can't tap it and look at it the way you do for many digital watches.
