I purchased this as a replacement to an older model that I wore out. I use the headset in a business setting and frequently have it on for 4-5 hours per day. Probably because the previous unit had the on/off switch on the base, I am still frequently trying to turn it on at the base rather than on the earpiece where it is now located, which is an incovenience. The previous unit did not have the mic boom extension and I find this a bit ackward too. The sound quality is better than my previous unit but the CS 55 is not nearly as comfortable on my ear for long periods of time. Plantronics need to improve this for heavy users. Even with improved sound quality, this purchase has been a bit of a disappointment. |
