![]() Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - Box Set $49.98 Here's the deal. I wanted to buy the song Kid's in America by Kim Wilde but I couldn't find it on iTunes. I play GTA Vice City a lot and figured there are some cool songs on there. What I didn't realize was how many songs that I didn't like would be on the CD's. Overall there are CD's that I really haven't even listened to. I would say save your money on this one. ![]() Grand Theft Auto: Vice City $19.99 Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was a one-of-a-kind experience for me. I personally didn't really think much of the Grand Theft Auto games prior to playing this. A lot of my friends always talked about how much fun these games were back when I was at school. I always dismissed their recommendations for this game because from what I heard about it, the game just sounded stupid, to put it bluntly. Boy was I wrong.. Not only is the game not stupid, this game includes some of the most hilarious political satire I've ever heard in any video game - ever. There were actually times when I was just sitting there laughing while listening to the different radio stations you can listen to in this game. The radio, and the hilarious commentary on it is one of the game's best features, and it all contributes towards an overall feeling of living in the 1980s. There are a couple aspects of the game that different people seem to enjoy. First and foremost, the game has its own story line that I thought was quite well done, and missions for you to do in the game for other criminal figures all over Vice City. I personally thought most of the missions were quite enjoyable, though there was a few that I didn't really like. In particular, I thought that the game did a poor job in terms of making the helicopters or airplanes easy to fly. I personally found the helicopters/airplanes in the game to be more frustrating than fun. Hopefully future Grand Theft Auto games will fix this aspect to make it easier and less frustrating. The other aspect of the game that people enjoy as I understand it is that this game is what you might call a "sandbox" style game. There is just an immense amount of freedom in this game to drive wherever you want in Vice City, or do just about anything such as buying a business, running over pedestrians, or whacking random people with golf clubs. I won't go into all the different "vices" you can find in Vice City, but just let me say they're there, and it really adds to the overall sense of being able to do anything that the game has to offer. Sure, it might sound immature, but it's just a game really, and everyone knows that. All in all, this is a very well-done game that is very deserving of my recommendation. The only problem that I would warn people about is that the graphics are pretty outdated on this game. If you can look past that however, you should have quite a lot of fun. I was personally not a big fan of the Grand Theft Auto games prior to playing this, but now I very much look forward to buying and playing Grand Theft Auto 4. ![]() Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories $19.99 Please keep in mind that this is an adaption from the PSP version, so don't expect another massive game like San Andreas. I never thought that I would say this about anything Grand Theft Auto, but I learned to really dislike this game. The reason being is the fact that it is so glitchy. The slightest bump from anything will knock you down for a few seconds, which is a guaranteed death or bust if the cops are after you. The other most noticeable thing is the hand to hand fighting is horrible. You can't be too close or the person you are fighting will beat you to death. It's obvious that the graphics are too much for the PS2. You can tell that right away when you get in a car and floor it. You get nothing but pop up graphics and scenery that has not loaded all of the way. Or the way you will not hear pedestrian or voices form the main character if there are cars driving by because the sound of the city and the cars overload the game. Another thing that is fun about the GTA series are using cheat codes when not doing missions. Most people know that you never use them when doing the story line because you cheat yourself and they can have strange side effects on your game save. Forget about using them in this one. You will get instant weirdness. Rampages become disabled, meaning you can do a rampage, but you will not pass it. The graphics will become even worse, and occasionally cops will pull up trying to bust you, only to get out of their car and walk away. Don't even lie and say you never use cheat codes. I say, rent it. ![]() Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories $19.99 We like this game so bad( me & my son ), we can't stop playing this game simply waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw |
