 American Experience: Grand Central $24.99 As far as it goes, this documentary tells the dramatic story of the construction of the current Grand Central Station. It leaves out, however, the equally dramatic story of its restoration after decades of grime collection and neglect. Still, it's strong on the origins and early years of this monument, though it also leaves out any reference to the egregious destruction of next door Penn Station, a building at least as gorgeous as Grand Central.  Grand Central: Gateway to a Million Lives $45.00 This is one of the bests books about grand central and its surroundings ever published, not doubt you'll be 100% satisfied with it.  Grand Central Station Double Sided Wall Clock $39.99 This lovely clock is Double Sided and can be used inside or outside (covered patio).  Fisher Price - Geo Trax Grand Central Station Mega Set w/ DVD - Extra Car & Figure Included!! $149.99 I like this toy but my two year old took it apart in seconds and it took a while to figure out how to assemble it again. I would have been better off getting a simple trax system.(like a circle) He loves it when it is set up nice. I think this particular set has too many parts for a two and a half year old. Perhaps three and a half and up is more appropiate.Other than that it is really cute. |
