Not everyone will enjoy this movie.It is raunchy,crude humor at its best (or worst,as it might be).Dane Cook plays "Tank" -the date from Hell.He hires himself out to recently dumped men to date their Ex-es.The theory is that the women will run back into their ex-boyfriend's arms after dating the obnoxious,rude Tank.And Tank is good at his job-until he actually falls for his cousin's ex.(Kate Hudson).Among all this debauchery there is actually a love story-but this isn't really a 'date movie'.Unless your boyfriend or girlfriend has a good sense of humor and isn't easily offended.Myself? This movie is X Porm. Not for family, Funny, but should be titled as what it is. I would have not purchased it if I would have known what was A X-rated movie.

"Good Luck Chuck" is about Charlie Logan (Dane Cook) who has been cursed by a young goth girl to never be married. He discovers as he grows up that every woman he ever dates and has sex with, finds her perfect mate, which is never him.
But along the way he finds a klutzy woman, Cam Wexler (Jessica Alba), who he falls in love with, but whom he knows he will not be able to marry because of his curse. For some reason she doesn't want to get involved with him, and so he continues on having sex with many women who he knows are only one night stands. Eventually he wants to really test out this curse, and so he puts it upon himself to date and then have sex with the most undesirable woman he can find. After finding out that he apparently is no longer cursed he seeks out Cam and they finally have sex, only for Charlie to later find out that the curse is still apparently working as the "undesirable" woman that he had sex with has actually found someone that wants to marry her. This sends Charlie into a fit, as he finds out Came is apparently going out on a date with a famous Penguin expert. In order to try and hold onto her he ends up smothering Cam, and he subsequently gets the boot.

One does get exasperated with Charlie's over the top feelings of insecurity, and the vacuous line of sexual partners that he entertains. This is a so so affair with some chuckles and slap stick humor.
