All I Want Is Everything (Gossip Girl, 3)

Before I begin, you need to know that I love the Gossip Girl series. I love how bitchy but undeniably cool Blair is and how lovable and crazy Serena is. I love Gossip Girl's way of talking and everyone's nose-in-the-air attitude. This book had all that good stuff but it felt like Cecily herself was making fun of her writing, as in this whole thing was kind of a bad joke. There were definitely good parts but they did not make up for the pointless parts that can only be described as fillers for their WTH?-ness. I really hated how trashy the characters - especially Blair - are in the book and how pathetic some of them were made out to be, i.e. Nate, Kati, and Isabel. It just didn't go well with the 'we're rich, fabulous, & gorgeous New Yorkers" theme this series is written off of. I mean, come on, everyone has more pride than to be crying in the middle of the street because you were ditched by a friend who just takes advantage of you. I wasn't satisfied with this book and I really hope the sequels are as good as the first and second were.
