 La Paloma, Spanish And Latin American Favourites $16.98 God, do I love this CD. A friend of mine introduced me to it. He, however, had a CD-R. I bought the authentic CD and was even more impressed. The difference in the sound quality is amazing. The CD-R sounds like a crummy radio station with poor reception. The real CD is crisp, clear, full of the nuances and subtleties that makes music enjoyable. My friend now uses his CD-R for a coaster and he, too, has purchased the authentic CD. Crypt of Terror: The Night of the Bloody Apes/Curse of the Doll People $14.98 This review only reflects "Curse of the Doll People." This is one of the best of the black and white mexican horror films of all time. Extremely atmospheric and quite macabre. Unfortunately, CasaNegra was unable to procure an un-edited english version, and as such, the English version given, excludes two great scenes. However, the scenes are included in the Spanish version. The beautiful, statuesque Elvira Quintana, former Miss Mexico and Miss Universe contestant, leads the cast, and steals the show. Watch out for that zombie ghoul! and no, bullets will not stop him! I would have given this five stars if the English version was full length |
